Approvals Process

A guided approvals journey

We’ve streamlined the approvals journey. The process varies by location, zoning and local authority, but our engineers, architects, builders and certifiers guide you end to end.

The five steps

From first enquiry to handover.

  1. 1

    Preliminary planning

Assessment & payment — we scope your site, zoning and pathway.

  2. 2

    Approval

Planning approval and, where required, a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) assessment.

  3. 3

    Manufacture

Your HempPod is built in the factory — about 3–4 weeks to ‘move-in ready’.

  4. 4

    Delivery & install

Site levelled, screw-pile foundations set, module craned in.

  5. 5

    Work with us

    Finishing, handover and help-line support.

Good to know

  • The HempPod is classified as a Class 1a dwelling under the NCC.
  • Certification package available; electrical and plumbing must be completed by licensed tradespeople.
  • Remote sites may need a septic tank and a Land Capability Assessment (LCA); some sites may require a Development Application (DA).
  • A level site is included in indicative scope; site-specific earthworks, footings and service connections are quoted per site.
